Cenarth is a fascinating village on the border of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. The focus of the village is Cenarth Falls, a series of small waterfalls and pools on the river Teifi and a well-known salmon leap.
There is a board walk beside the river, so if you are quiet enough you could see kingfishers, otters and dippers. Trees overhand the board walk and it can be tricky negotiating the start of the walk before you get onto the flat boarded area.
The boardwalk that follows the river is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There is also a circular walk but that does contain a steep climb but still doable for fitter older adults. There is a car park and cafe at the start of the falls by the bridge.
