Hot, Hot, Hot! Time to Head to the Beach
What fantastic weather we're enjoying here in South West Wales! With glorious sunshine, stunning countryside, and a spectacular coastline, there's never been a better time to get out and explore.
If you're dreaming of a day at the beach, with sand between your toes, a refreshing swim, or simply relaxing while soaking up the sunshine, then make the most of this beautiful weather.
One of our favourite recommendations is Coppet Hall Beach, less than an hour from our holiday cottages. It's an excellent choice for everyone, especially if accessibility is important.
You'll find:
- Accessible beach wheelchair hire
- Warm outdoor showers to rinse off after your swim
- Accessible changing facilities
- A changing places toilet with an adult-sized changing table
- Disabled toilets
- A welcoming café for drinks, ice creams, and lunch
- Excellent parking just a short stroll from the beach
Parking is around £6 for the day, which is great value considering the excellent facilities available. We recommend arriving early, especially during this gorgeous weather, as it can get busy.
Don't forget your sun cream, hats, plenty of water... and maybe even an umbrella for some welcome shade—yes, we really are saying that in Wales!
After a wonderful day by the sea, you can return to the comfort of your cottage, put your feet up, and enjoy a relaxing evening, ready for your next adventure exploring the best of South West Wales.
P.S Disabled toilets with a shower table and hoist and warm showers etc are separate beneath the restaurant and they close at 6pm.
