Stunning coastline and beautiful woodland.
Millennium Coastal cycle path in Llanelli which follows a mixture of stunning coastline and beautiful woodland. 7 miles long and starting at the Discovery Centre in Llanelli, this amazing route winds through picturesque lakes, a Nature Reserve and the new marina at Burry Port before reaching the Pembrey Forest.
To extend your journey, follow the trail east from the Discovery Centre in Llanelli to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre, Loughor Bridge and onwards to Mumbles where the route joins up with the Swansea Bike Path which follows the wide curving sweep of Swansea Bay, fantastic views across to Mumbles Head and the start of the Gower Peninsula. Starting at Swansea Marina, the path follows the coastline to the Victorian seaside town of Mumbles along the route of the former Mumbles railway, plenty of places to stop for a coffee or a bite to eat. Both places great for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
