Stangwrach
cottage nestles in a Welsh hillside set in the Towy
valley, surrounded by beautiful views and gardens.
Stangwrach itself dates back to the 15th century and
was rebuilt from a derelict state in 1979. The attached
barn has been converted into a well-furnished
homely cottage whilst still maintaining its character.

This is an ideal location, for cyclists, walkers, photographers and birdwatchers.
Ideal for visiting the Brecon Beacons, mountain
bike trails in Brechfa forest,
fishing on the river Towy or Cothi visiting castles, and exploring the rural
coastline or just to enjoy the rest.
This quality cottage has a porch leading to a front door entrance
hall and beamed kitchen with usual facilities and view over the garden. Also
on the ground floor is a brand new bathroom with shower/bath, toilet WHB and
overhead shower, and the double bedroom. Cottage stairs lead to a further twin
bedroom and the lounge that takes full advantage of the country views and landscaped
gardens. |

Sleeping Accommodation: Bedrooms have blankets and duvets with linen provided.
The rooms are warm and cosy in the winter and airy in the summer. The
ground floor bedroom next to the bathroom has a large double bed and
ample storage space for your stay. The double-glazed window, takes full
advantage of the views, lawns and garden. The second bedroom upstairs
has twin pine beds, walk in wardrobe. The room also has splendid views
of the gardens. Additional foldaway bed and Travel Cot available.

Outside.
Outside: Ample room for children to play on the terraced garden and an ideal
spot for the adults to laze about on sunny days. Outdoor furniture is dotted
around the gardens taking advantage of the secluded corners tucked away
for quiet contemplation, reading, having a coffee or just enjoying the
beauty of nature. The gardens themselves were designed by Grace. Her love
of gardening and nature has enabled her to accomplish her dream where others
have failed. But thats another story...
There is also a shared two-acre field available, great for
those more energetic games, football, netball, badminton and
cricket. There are children's swings a baby swing and a 12ft
Trampoline. Great fun for everyone. There is even a larger
single swing for older children amongst us...

Here is just one of the
latest comments from a lovely couple that stayed at Stangwrach
cottage in April.
" We have
just had a lovely break at Stangwrach and Ash Tree Lodge
and can
only say that the words and pictures cannot do justice to the location and
facilities. Grace & Debbie (hosts) really do go the extra mile in creating
an environment for a wonderful break. You get so much more and is fantastic
value. Most highly recommended."
